Wine & Cheese Tasting Friday 12 June 8-11pm

Wine GlassesAttention Wine & Cheese Lovers!

The RGS Parents’ Association invite you to an exclusive tasting event on Friday 12th June, 8-11pm in the Library.

Mark Hughes of The Real Wine Company  and Les Root of Roots Delicatessen will lead you through the finer points of appreciating wine and cheese.

Tickets are £10 and include a fully tutored tasting of around 8-10 wines and a selection of cheeses chosen to complement them perfectly. Please download the flyer below, complete the form and return it, with payment, to the Resources Centre by Monday 8th June.

Due to the logistics of the event, we have to limit numbers, so please get your order in early.

The Real Wine Company

Mark has spent his whole professional life in the Wine Trade. He began as a trainee wine taster at Grants of St James’s, then progressed through various senior roles within supermarkets and specialist wine retailers. Disillusioned with the dumbing-down of wine in the High street he formed The Real Wine Company.

Dealing directly with small, passionate producers he only sells wines with real character and individuality.

Roots Delicatessen

Roots DeliLes Root opened ‘Roots Delicatessen’ in High Wycombe in 1994, and stocks the very best of British and international foods for those who care about the quality of the food they eat.

Les is passionate about British cheeses and frequently gives talks to local groups with tasting sessions to compare real Farmhouse cheeses with supermarket imitations. He is a regular judge at the World Cheese Awards.
