We are planning to hold an “Auction of Pledges” event on 21st September 2007. It has been a huge success in the past, raising substantial funds towards many projects, including minibuses and the glazing of ‘The Space’ under the Queen’s Hall.

The event will be hosted by The Antiques Roadshow’s very own Eric Knowles. Expect a really entertaining evening, with the chance to bid for a variety of exciting experiences and items to suit every budget.

Perhaps you have a special skill or service to offer or perhaps you know someone who could make a pledge for the event? Do you have connections with a local company, golf course or restaurant that you could ask to donate?

Examples of current lots include:

• Half-day's gardening
• Central heating service
• Long weekend in Portugal apartment
• Indian meal for two
• Day's sailing on 37ft yacht
• A fruit cake a month for 10 months
• Driving lessons
