Dear Parents

You will have probably logged onto the RGS PA Website to find out more of what the Parents’ Association do in supporting the School.  We greatly value the support of parents of boys at RGS and this may be by supporting your son in his interests and activities or by being able to give time to raise funds for the School. 

The PA Committee organise many events designed to give parents an opportunity to socialise and meet each other, as well as raising funds to enrich the education of the boys.  In recent years, the School has benefited by the PA supplying two new minibuses, the creation of ‘The Space’ under the Queen’s Hall and recently, a set of very impressive stage curtains.  This is just the tip of an iceberg of equipment and facilities provided by the PA that the School would otherwise not have. 

I would encourage you to become involved with the PA by joining their committee or helping run events, but equally importantly, please try to support the myriad of events they organise.  I can guarantee that you will have an enjoyable time as well as making new friends.  I look forward to meeting you at these events.
