If you didn't make it to our Autumn Ball - “A Night at the Races” -  you certainly missed a night to remember. For one late summer evening the Queens Hall became ‘Wycombe Flats’, complete with miniature race track and horses, winners' enclosure and even an indoor marquee.

For the game crowd who turned out to join in the fun it was a chance to have a flutter on a filly and engage in some serious trading at the horse auctions. While a few lucky punters pocketed a tidy profit from the evening’s antics, the school was the biggest winner as the event raised over £3000.

With band ‘Soulmates’ to entertain and a cracking disco, the hall rocked from dinner until the early hours. As the evening ended, the bar was drunk dry of champagne by the happy revellers who made it through to the finishing line.

Well done to the RGSPA team who pulled out all the stops to ensure the night was a success. More importantly, a huge Thank You to all the punters who got into the spirit of the event. The £3000+ raised by the event will go towards projects the school could not otherwise afford.

We also had a professional photographer (and RGS parent) take some portraits. Nic kindly donated his time on the evening and will donate all profits to the school.
