...Or Quiz Rage?
40 teams squeezed into the Queen's Hall on Friday 26th January for our annual quiz. 39 of them were determined to beat the regular champions, The Old Masters. Did they win again? Well, no pigs have flown past the window recently, so yes they did! It was great to see a mix of parents, friends and teachers on the evening. The boys put up a good number of teams. One included a few French exchange students, but the combined European effort was still not enough to keep the Old Masters at bay. Many prizes went out to the winners, including the teams "Rage Against the Machine" and "Really Good Sports (RGS)" for having the best names. A huge thank you to Mr Shreeve for setting some challenging questions and to Mr Wilson for his excellent Quizmastery. Also, big thanks to Steph and the ladies in Resources for compiling the table plans & quiz papers and other help preparing for the big night. Well done to the runners for keeping the evening moving and to those who helped us reset the hall at the end of the evening. Lastly, thanks to all those who came along and made the evening a success - the quiz raised over £1,500 for school projects that would otherwise go unfunded. Sorry if you didn't get a ticket - we sold out 10 days before the quiz. We hope to see you at one of our other events, if not next year!
