The PA count on your donations to our various raffles and auctions. Every bottle of wine, DVD or box of chocs helps raise money for school projects.

In the run up to our 2006 Christmas Party and Draw, we'd like to take some time to offer thanks and highlight recent contributions.

Firstly, a big thank you to all parents who have donated items for auction or raffle, or arranged donations from their companies. These make up the majority of our prizes and lots.

Both Dorchester Group Hotels and the Heritage Foundation have made first class contributions to our fund raising activities over the last three years. A huge thank you to them.

In 2006 we auctioned a signed Arsenal Shirt at the FRORGS Gentlemen’s Evening and split the £1300 received 50/50 with them - a great result.

In 2005 we had an 'Auction of Pledges'. This raised a record amount for the school - £17,000 in one event. This was a huge job and we plan to do it again in 2007.

Can you help organise it? Or can you, your company or someone you know offer something special to auction? A visit, a service, a chance to meet someone interesting? Any contribution to the auction would be valuable, but the special lots are those things that money cannot usually buy.

Don’t let those unwanted gifts or opportunities to raise money in this way for the school go wasted! Please contact us ASAP.
